Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new markets and customer leads through research proven systems for products and services.
- Maintain close relationship by arranging frequent contact/ business meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives by selling our unique business proposition.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, Technical sales executive or a relevant role.
- Proven sales track record in technical sales focusing on machines, parts and services.
- Knowledge of Packaging and Printing equipment and processes will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in customer support.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
- Good understanding of the business environment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Market knowledge.
- Communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Degree/ HND in Engineering or business administration, Marketing or relevant field.
